February 7-14 is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week.
Congenital Heart Defects are the number 1 birth defect. 1 in 100 births will be a CHD. CHD's kill more children than all childhood cancers combined. 4,000 babies in just the US alone will not see their 1st birthday because of a CHD. Less than .01 cent of every dollar the American Heart Association spends is directed to CHD research.
