The definition of a rainbow is the colored arch in the sky after a rain or storm.
The definition of a rainbow baby is a baby that is conceived after a miscarriage/infant loss, the light at the end of a storm.
What is important to us is the understanding that
the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a
rainbow appears, it doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the
family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that
something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the
darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow
provides a counterbalance of color, energy and hope. Kian is and will always be on our minds and in our hearts. He will live on in our thoughts and in our hearts every single day. We will always love and miss our little fighter.
Ok...So yes, we are expecting our second baby!!! Kian will have a little brother or sister! Zach and I are VERY excited and feel very blessed. We are praying for a happy, healthy pregnancy and baby.
