Kian had his CT scan and bronchoscopy done. While we are happy that they found why he is having so much trouble breathing on his own, we are not thrilled with what is coming up. Take a deep breath...
Kian has to have open heart surgery again! Two open heart surgeries in 6 weeks! Ugh! First, tomorrow Kian with have a heart catheterization done so that they surgeon knows exactly what needs to be done prior to "going in". We don't have a date for the surgery yet but it will be soon.
We are terrified about him having surgery again so close to the last one. We are terrified about him having surgery again when he is so malnourished and weak. But we are excited at the thought that this might actually help him to be able to get off the vent and move forward. Please pray for this!
