Kian's hemodialysis is still going! There was definitely some skepticism on if we were going to be able to keep it running. Don't get me wrong, the machine has failed several times and we have had to do a lot of trouble shooting. But it's running! God has a plan and is in control!
Kian had a negative fluid balance for the past 24 hours, this is huge! We need to get off as much fluid as his body will allow. Yes, we still have a long way to go but at least we are moving forward. Baby steps right now and we're fine with that! We are praising God for these baby steps and trusting in His plan.
There have been many things that have happened that we don't like. But sometimes those very things we don't like lead to other things that lead to improvements for Kian. As I said, God has a plan. We don't always understand it, we don't always like it, but we believe in His plan.
Prayer request: Please pray that Kian's hemodialysis continues to work and that we can get the fluid off him. Please pray for guidance and knowledge for the medical professionals taking care of Kian.
