Half of an update

This is half of an update. Why? Yesterday we were on a small roller coaster ride, but all is looking better.  So the half update is on that.  I don't have a complete update because we STILL don't know when surgery will be this week!

The roller coaster yesterday had to do with Kian's dialysis.  The last two days his dialysis began to slow down and stopped pulling off fluid altogether!  This isn't good because we really need the fluid to come off for surgery.  So all day yesterday many things were tried to "fix" this.  Nothing was working though, it was quite stressful.  Around midnight last night the surgeon finally replaced Kian's dialysis catheter completely.  This was the last thing to try.  And it worked! This morning the fluid coming off was slow but it has picked up throughout the day.  This is a really good thing, thank God!

We are now praying that the excess fluid continues to come off and surgery is still on for this week.  Can't wait to have a day set for surgery!  Thank you all for your prayers and support!
