Surgery

8:15 AM (Cali time) Kian was taken to the OR to begin prep and anesthesia.  

9:20 AM  We are waiting for the surgeon to come talk to us prior to beginning the surgery.  Thank you all for your prayers and support!

10:30 AM  We spoke to the surgeon before he went to begin surgery.  He seemed optimistic and gave us a good feeling.  But we all know Kian will do what he wants! :)  He expects the surgery to last at least 6 hours so we won't be hearing from him until 5 PM or later.  What a long day it is going to be!  We will let you know if we get an update during surgery and may not post until tomorrow morning after surgery because we will be at Kian's bedside.  But we'll try! 

2:30 PM Kian is still in surgery and at this point he probably still has another 3-5 hours.  We will let you know as soon as we know more.
