Pictures

So we are finally going to post some pictures.  We have mentioned how Kian has been at a stand still and how his recovery has been slowly inching along.  But he really has come a long way and has been amazingly tough.  We debated on putting up any pics of him after surgery because they simply aren't pretty to look at. (We still aren't going to post any of his open chest).  But here are some pictures of him right after surgery to now.  We will definitely have some more of him for his 1st Christmas!  Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Kian after surgery and chest closure:

Santa came to visit but couldn't go into Kian's room because he is in isolation.  So, I got a pic of him at the door!

This is Kian's first Christmas tree!  Obviously not exactly what I would have imagined, but he is here with us to have a first Christmas tree and we are so thankful for that!!!

Kian is still weak and on some sedation, but he is slowly getting better!

  2. Thank you for sharing this part of your lives with u. I am so grateful to know Kian, he is a joy. He could not have better parents to support him. I hope this first Christmas as a family will be as joyous as is possible given the circumstances. I do know that there are lots of prayers being sent your way from many people. (Even my Mom in Africa is praying for you)
Looking forward to seeing you all again.
    Have a wonderful Christmas.
    Love you Kian.
