Today is a big day. The plastic surgeon will be taking off the wound vac and looking at Kian's wound. He will either suture it up, put the wound vac back on, or a combination of the two.
It is a big deal because the wound vac is what is keeping us in the hospital at this point. Apparently the insurance company won't pay for a wound vac at home and would rather pay for Kian to be in an ICU! It doesn't make sense! Trust me, if we could pay for the vac ourselves, we would be running for the door as soon as we could! :)
Anyway, today we will have a better idea of when we will get to take Kian home. Please pray that it goes well! We are trusting in God's plan for Kian (but can't wait to get home!).
I'm going to pray my heart out because I just can't deal with you not being here anymore!! God made Kian so tough and it will be great to have you all back here!
