This morning Kian had an unexpected visit with his pediatrician. Last night I found blood in his stool. Also, he has been dealing with a lot of air in his belly and pain with that. So this morning we called his pediatrician (who is so accommodating and wonderful) and he wanted us to bring Kian in. We ended up also going to NDIC for a xray and thank God there wasn't anything wrong there. Kian possibly is having trouble with dairy, so we are going to switch the formula that we add to his breast milk and hope that does the trick. Also, I am going to cut out dairy from my diet. So please pray that this is the answer and the discomfort Kian has been experiencing goes away! Thank you!
Even with his discomfort, Kian was smiling away at the nurse this morning and was awesome during his visit. What a tough guy! :)

ReplyDeleteI have been thinking and praying for you and sweet baby Kian. I am so happy to hear that you are out of the hospital and Kian is home with you. You are absolutely right, Kian has experienced more than most ever will. He is absolutely adorable and I can't wait to meet him!
